CaliforniaRocker.com, the Los Angeles-based music website produced by Donna Balancia has been honored with four finalist designations at the 2016 National Arts and Entertainment Journalism Awards. In addition to the photo of Flyin' Jay Armant of Fishbone, above, three other photos and a photo essay by Suzanne Witkin were also honored.

Fishbone was not the only photo to receive a finalist designations in the action photo category of the annual NAEJ Awards. Also grabbing top honors were photos of Cedric Bixler-Zavala and Dick Dale as they performed for their faithful fans.
